Increase in Monthly Garbage Fees
As part of the budget process that became effective 07/01/2026, the Wilkesboro Town Council increased the monthly garbage fee from $10.00 to $16.00 to cover the increased Landfill Fees and Recycling (picked up at curbside) Fees charged by our vendors to the Town. The $16.00 fee covers 1 trash bin and 1 recycle bin from the town. Each new set of bins is charged an additional $16.00 per month.

Due to work in progress at the Wilkesboro Civic Center, no further civic center reservations will be taken until further notice.
