Town of Wilkesboro Public Hearing Notice
Notice is hereby given that the Wilkesboro Town Council will hold a public hearing on Monday, November 2, 2026, at 5:30 p.m.in the Council Chambers at Wilkesboro Town Hall, 203 West Main Street, Wilkesboro, North Carolina, to consider the following:
Rezoning Application #RZ 2026-03 submitted by Joshua Parker on behalf of TSDC Parker Ministries requesting to rezone approximately 0.82 acres located at 894 Union Street, Wilkesboro, NC (PIN # 3867-16-4678) from M-1 Industrial District to R-6 General Residential District. The property is identified as Parcel ID #2201367 and is located within the Town limits.
The purpose of the request is to allow for residential development consistent with the Town’s land use plans.
The public is invited to attend and provide comments either in favor of or in opposition to the proposed rezoning.
